Tentative schedule Monday, March 2nd, Professional Development Seminars, 8 AM to 12 noon, Symposium 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Tuesday, March 3rd, Safety Sessions 7 AM to 4:30 PM, Construction Expo 9 PM to 4 PM.

Call for Presentation Abstracts

Deadline for abstracts is 10/31/2014

Plans have begun for the annual construction Expo and Safety Day. It is our pleasure to invite you to submit a proposal for presenting at this event once again being held at Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The conference is scheduled for March 2 & 3, 2015. March 2nd will consist of a small amount of professional development sessions. The sessions will be four hours each and will run from 8 AM to 12 noon. March 3rd will feature a full day of shorter sessions that will run from 7 AM to 4:30 PM and an Expo sponsored by ASA Chicago.

Each year participants have been very complimentary about our efforts to recruit superior speakers with timely, accurate and usable information that have the ability to deliver an effective presentation in an interesting style. That is why we are inviting you to submit an abstract. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please submit an abstract no later than October 31, 2014. We need to get your registration material out in a timely manner. So please pay close attention to the deadline date. Your proposal should include

1 .      title of presentation or round tail roundtable discussion

2 .      name and title of all presenters

3 .      your name and contact information, including phone and email

4 .      suggested duration

5 .      level of technicality: basic, intermediate or advanced

6 .      1-2 descriptive paragraphs for your session

7 .      short bio for you and co-presenters including prior speaking engagements

We encourage you to pick a topic that will bring new and/or needed information to the attendees and also one that you feel you can deliver in an interesting manner. The topics may range from basic to advanced. We ask that you categorize your topics so that we can make sure that we promoted it to the right audience
